This is going to be a bit of a series on here; I have the fortunate hobby of visiting my father in Arizona, and while there have amassed a sizeable cactus collection. However, of course, I also go out and hike to see the native, beautiful xerophytic fauna of the area. This trip, I found something remarkable. This saguaro is crested, or fasciated; it is one of maybe 400 of its kind.
