An update on my Nymphaea thermarum!
After nearly a week in my care, this thermarum has shown great visible growth and the formation of a new flower bud! This plant has been such a cool thing to experience and I cannot wait to continue to watch it grow and hopefully photograph its elusive bloom!

An incredible new addition to my collection!
As of last week, I am now honored to grow the world’s smallest waterlily, Nymphaea thermarum, in my bathroom! It’s in a very specialized setup that I spent many painstaking hours perfecting, and it appears to have worked-the plant has visibly grown in the week I’ve had it thus far!

My euryale ferox pads have breached one foot long!
After multiple months of growing, the pads of my Euryale ferox have officially breached one foot in length-a huge achievement for me! And whatβs more, this same individual is forming a flower bud! Though itβs blurry, it can be seen here!

Utterly fascinating!
This is a photo of a Dionaea muscipula infloresence; or Venus flytrap. It has small, non carnivorous leaves surrounding the flowers, held high above the carnivorous portion of the plant. Just insane to me how it evolved so precisely!

Euryale Ferox
After a few years of wait, I am finally able to grow the giant lily Euryale ferox in my home pond! Hereβs a photo of one of the seedlings before i put them in!! π
