After nearly a week in my care, this thermarum has shown great visible growth and the formation of a new flower bud! This plant has been such a cool thing to experience and I cannot wait to continue to watch it grow and hopefully photograph its elusive bloom!

After multiple months of growing, the pads of my Euryale ferox have officially breached one foot in length-a huge achievement for me! And what’s more, this same individual is forming a flower bud! Though it’s blurry, it can be seen here!

This is a photo of a Dionaea muscipula infloresence; or Venus flytrap. It has small, non carnivorous leaves surrounding the flowers, held high above the carnivorous portion of the plant. Just insane to me how it evolved so precisely!
